My Little Man and His Vacuum

Today I was cleaning up a mess the dog had made. I stopped vacuuming to take care of something and when I turned around this is what I saw:

It is because of these moments that I am glad we gave Bryce is own vacuum for his birthday,

I love the "deer in the headlights" look at the end of the video!

Happy Birthday Bryce!

Bryce finally turns two and is officially a terrorizing toddler! Because this boy LOVES peanut butter and chocolate, I made Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cupcakes.

Let the madness and chaos begin!
We are happy to have this active and mischievous boy in our family.

Hogwarts for Halloween!

Over the past few months Brandon and I have been reading the Harry Potter books to Carson and Julianne as they fall asleep. So when it came time to decide what to be for Halloween,  Harry Potter was on top of Carson's list. It took a little persuading to get Julianne excited about the idea, but it the end we all had a great time!
Introducing:

Professor Severus Snape a.k.a. Brandon

Professor McGonagall a.k.a Alicia

Harry Potter a.k.a Carson

Fluer Delacour a.k.a Julianne

Dobby a.k.a. Bryce

Family Pictures

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then oh the stories these would say.

Some of my favorite from a family reunion.

Our Utah Adventure: Part II

Stadium of Fire: Brad Paisley

Brad. Need I say more.

And when they mean stadium of fire, they mean FIRE.
Not only did we feel the heat but we got a little ash on us too.

Provo's 4th of July Parade

So thankful to our family who made sure we had great seats for the parade.
With people camping out up as early as 6 p.m. the previous night, this is serious fun.

 Fireworks!

There has been so much water that Utah lifted it's ban on aerial fireworks.
So the boys got to play with the big ones!

But my favorite to photograph are the small sparklers in small hands.

Our Utah Adventure: Part I

The Hoogle Zoo

It was so hot that almost all of the animals were taking their mid day naps to escape the heat. So we had fun with all of the fake animals including dinosaurs, an elephant, and a gorilla.

 Dairy Keen

An old collage favorite.
This was my stress relief after a bad day student teaching in Heber.
It was fun to share it with my kids.

 Bean Museum

My Dad joked that since we took the kids to see real animals,
now we should show them the stuffed ones.

Only In Provo

For some reason while I lived in Provo, I saw some strange, silly, and crazy things. Coming back, I was not disappointed. This was a homemade slip'n'slide that went from a neighbor's house down into the Provo Canyon creek that was over flowing with run off water. Although I didn't let my kids go down the slide, we did have fun playing in the very, very cold water.

 LDS History Museum

I had never been to the LDS History Museum.
I didn't know there was a third floor dedicated to a kids play area.
For a place I had never visisted and didn't know exsisted... we had fun!
