In April, Grandma Chris and Grandpa Veldon came to visit us from Idaho. We had a lot of fun with them including taking them to Mormon Station, Lake Tahoe, and Virginia City.
Mormon Station: Genoa, NV is the first settlement of Nevada. There is also a state park that tells the story of the Mormons coming to the valley after arriving at Salt Lake City.
Lake Tahoe: We live 30 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. So we took a day and drove all around the lake, taking in the views.
Viriginia City: It is an old wild west town just 30 minutes north of our home. We have a lot of fun playing with guns and seeing the western dressed "locals".
That is some beautiful country for sure! I love scenic drives!
ReplyDeleteYour kiddos are adorable...I can tell that Lily and Zach would LOVE to hang with them! :)
